The Kinetronics© StaticVac is used worldwide on motion picture projectors to remove static, dust and flaking from prints. The StaticVac uses an electronic 'bipolar' ionizing system, a self-contained DC system that produces both positive and negative ions for complete static elimination. This process helps prevent projector jams and film wraps due to static build-up.When the film is passed through the StaticVac, the ionization system neutralizes the static on the film, and then the four gentle StaticWiskTM brushes whisk dust, flaking and lint off the film. The vacuum action of the fan draws the debris into the foam filter. The StaticVac may be mounted directly on your projector or platter tower with the accessory SCB (StaticVac Cinema Bracket).
The StaticVac construction includes a durable steel cabinet and top quality components. The hinged hood allows for fast and simple maintenance. StaticWisk brushes are easily removed for routine cleaning. After cleaning, your films will have crisp, clear sound, as well as sharp, dust-free images that your audiences will appreciate.
Thousands of StaticVac film cleaners are in daily use throughout the world; known as an industry standard for reliability and top quality film cleaning. The StaticVac has been tested, listed and is certified by UL, cUL, and CE for safety and for EMC (electro magnetic compatibility). Machines are shipped with 10 extra filters and 8 mounting magnets.
