Digital Scanner Cleaning Kit reduces ‘after the scan’ touch-ups. The
Kit provides professional tools to clean your scanner, film, slides and
transparencies. Cleaning film and documents before scanning insures that they
are free of dirt, dust and debris. Dirt on film and documents will show up in
the scan and cause extra work retouching or rescanning.
The Kit is
ideal for removing fingerprints and dust from glass scanner beds. The Kit also
removes dust and lint from negatives, transparencies and slides prior to
scanning. Photos, documents and various other types of media can also be
cleaned to remove debris prior to scanning.
Each kit contains one StaticWiskTM SW-030 anti-static brush and one ASC anti-static microfiber cloth packaged in a reusable plastic box. The StaticWisk brush is 30mm or 1-1/4" wide and can dissipate the static charge on surfaces and materials and whisk away dust with one wipe. The ASC is approximately 250mm x 450mm or 10" x 18". It is a special soft microfiber cloth with conductive fibers knitted right into the cloth. This special cloth is very effective for wiping glass, plastics, and other surfaces to remove dust and dissipate static.
