StaticVac
Mounting Systems for Digital Minilabs
Kinetronics Corporation has designed two special mounting systems for the StaticVac Model SV-4400U anti-static film cleaning machines. One has been specially engineered for mounting the film cleaner onto the Fuji Frontier Series and the second is a suction-cup suitable for special applications.
The mounting base for the Fuji Frontier is made
from steel and finished with durable powder coat paint. It mounts on the feed
bin and uses one of the rollers located on the bin. The film feeds through the
StaticVac for cleaning prior to scanning and is positioned out of the way when
the film is returned to the bin. The mount provides for correct alignment so
that the film-cleaning machine can be adjusted for different sized film.
A vacuum mount for the StaticVac is now available
for use when locating the film cleaner on critical scanners or other special
locations. This mount is "pumped" with a small plunger to create a
vacuum in the cup under the machine. It is best suited for use on smooth
surfaces. It raises the height of the film cleaner 1 5/8"or 42mm.
